Privacy/Confidentiality Policy
This agreement applies to all staff, contractors, interns, and volunteers associated with and involved in Iowa Coalition Against Domestic Violence activities. This includes all activity associated with ICADV at its main office and outreach sites, including remote work at an employee’s home.
All data, materials, knowledge, and information generated through, originating from, or related to ICADV or persons associated with our activities is considered privileged and confidential and is not to be disclosed to any third party. All pages, forms, information, documents, printed matter, policies and procedures, conversations, messages (received or transmitted), resources, contacts, e-mail lists, e-mail messages, client, staff, or public information are confidential and the sole property of ICADV.
Confidential information includes, but is not limited to, any information about or relating to agency staff, clients, and activities. Client privilege extends to all forms and formats where data is maintained and stored, including, but not limited to, hardcopy, photocopy, and electronic forms. Client information, including all file information, is not to be disclosed to any third party under any circumstances without a detailed release of information signed by the client or without the approval of the executive director or designee.
Any disclosure, misuse, copying, or transmitting of any material, data, or information, whether intentional or unintentional, will subject you to disciplinary action and prosecution, according to the procedures set by ICADV.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
